Clear, dull ruby core fading to a brownish rim. Clean, pronounced earth aromas. Dark cherry aromas with a hint of chocolate. Dry, lacks some acidity and tannin, flat. Cherry flavors on the palate. Light bodied wine and a medium finish. Average quality wine, ready to drink. Score 3.3 (€9.00)
Podere Il Palazzino, La Pieve Chianti Classico DOCG, 2002
Clear, intense dark red core fading to a garnet rim. Clean rich toasty nose. Black current and black berry aromas. Dry well balanced acidity and tannins. Pronounced fruit flavors on the palat or black current and black berries with a hint of chocolate. Excellent quality, can keep for a few more years. Score 3.9 (€14.50)

Clear medium intensity garnet core. Pronounced fruit aromas of cherry with a hint of toasty oak. Balanced wine, light body, medium alcohol. Drink now and will keep for another 1-2 years. Score 2.8 (€8.00)

Clear medium intense mahogany core. Intense fruit on the nose dark berry with a hint of chocolate. Dry, medium plus acidity and tannin, well balanced. Full body on the palate with intense ripe black cherry flavors and a finish of chocolate. Good length, quality wine, can age for some more years. Score 3.1 (€24.00)
