Boschendal, Pinot Noir Chardonnay, Costal Region, South Africa (2003)

Clear, dull, deep, straw yellow with a narrow watery rim. Musty, slightly corked. Toasty wood aromas. Medium dry, medium acidity some body, slightly corked musty on the palate with a hint of toastyness. Average wine, ready for drinking. Score 2.8 (€9.95 Ton Overmars)

Clear and bright pale straw yellow, with a tinge of green on the edges. Clean, young wine, green herbaceous aromas, grass and lemon. Dry, medium acidity. Tangy lemon and grass on the palate with a hint of black current leaf. Some length. Good quality, young, variatal wine. Fresh ready to drink. Score 3.7 (€11.99 Gall& Gall)
